Former Green Bay Packers quarterback Blair Keil died Sunday. He was 50.
Kiel fell ill at a relative’s home in Columbus, Ind., and died of natural causes, according to the Bartholomew County coroner’s office. They are awaiting results of toxicology reports.
Kiel is the uncle of touted Irish recruit Gunner Kiel.
"He was my starting quarterback for two years and he was a great leader," former Irish running back Allen Pinkett told Brian Hamilton of the Chicago Tribune.
