Former Miami athletic director Dee passes away

National Football Post

According to multiple media outlets in Florida, former Miami athletic director Paul Dee has passed away.

Dee, who held the AD position in Coral Gables from 1993 until 2008, also served as the NCAA Committee on Infractions chairman, a role he held while overseeing the Reggie Bush-USC case in the summer of 2010.

When Dee announced the Trojans' two-year bowl ban and 30 docked scholarships, he said that "high-profile athletes demand high-profile compliance." That quote is often referenced when other schools are going under NCAA investigations.

The National Football Post sends its sincerest condolences to Dee's family and friends.
