The LA Galaxy have been sniffing around their neighbor's trash cans and found something they like.
34-year-old French midfielder Laurent Courtois, released by Chivas USA on June 30, has signed with the reigning MLS cup winner following a short trial. In three seasons with the goats, he made 33 appearances, scoring three goals.
Los Angeles is the eighth club of Courtois' well-traveled career. Before joining Major League Soccer, he spent time with Ajaccio, Toulouse, West Ham United, Istres, Levante and Grenoble.
