Louisville has reportedly landed former Auburn quarterback Zeke Pike via a transfer, but there's a catch.
The former blue-chip prospect will play tight end for Cardinals head coach Charlie Strong instead of lining up under center, according to AuburnUndercover.com. He is not expected on campus until next week, however.
Of course, the 6-6, 225-pound Pike will have to sit out a year because he attended classes at Auburn after being an early enrollee this year.
The pro-style quarterback from Dixie Heights High School (Edgewood, Kentucky) was sent home after his arrest on a public intoxication charge in June, and Tigers head coach Gene Chizik announced Wednesday that Pike was no longer a member of the football team and would transfer.
