The Indianapolis Colts struggled and lost to the Washington Redskins 30-17 on August 25. Andrew Luck looked good once again, despite the poor play on the offensive line. With cut days approaching very quickly, the following players stood out and played very well against the Washington Redskins. I think each player has a very good chance to make the final roster.
DJ JohnsonDJ Johnson got the start at cornerback today and looked pretty solid. He finished with just two tackles but looked adequate against Washington's starters. In what has been an entire preseason of poor cornerback play, I think Johnson showed something today that may earn him a roster spot.
TY HiltonHilton responded to a poor game last week by playing very well against Washington. Hilton caught four passes for 54 yards and a touchdown. The 31 yard touchdown reception was a very good route for a rookie wide receiver. Today Hilton looked very much like the player I was excited about when the team drafted him this year.
