One of the best things about the summer months, aside from the NBA Playoffs and ice cream trucks roaming the streets, is that we start to get a glimpse of the next signature shoe models for the NBA's elite. Last week we got a sneak peek at a prototype for what could possibly be the LeBron XII, and now we have an official look at the upcoming KD VII.
Keeping the cut low and bringing back the popular strap across the upper (last seen on the KD IV), the seventh edition of Kevin Durant's signature sneaker also features a visible Nike Air pack toward the back and some exposed Flywire on the upper.
It appears that the first colorway of the KD VII is the USA-inspired one pictured below, perhaps for the upcoming FIBA games this summer. It is set to release on June 28 for $150. Stay tuned for more details and images of KD's next signature sneaker.
