What's buzzing on Yahoo Sports:

Finley expects to be back with Pack

The SportsXchange

Green Bay tight end Jermichael Finley answered a weekend report that the Packers would part ways with him after this season with his words and actions Sunday.

Finley caught five passes for 61 yards in Sunday's 21-13 win over Chicago and afterward spoke about a Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel story that indicated he wouldn't be around next year.

"I think that's just media," Finley told ESPN. "That's just talk out there. I haven't seen anything yet. They haven't shown me any signs. I'm here as far as I know."

One of the reasons behind the report was Finley's hefty $7 million salary for next season would be too rich for the Packers. The Journal-Sentinel indicated that the Packers would trade or release Finley before paying a $3 million roster bonus.

That said, Finley would like to return to Green Bay.

"It's a business, and I would love to be here my whole career," Finley said. "I'm comfortable here, and I want to be a Packer for life. That's all I can say about that."

Finley has 48 catches for 525 yards and two touchdowns this season, his fifth in the NFL.
