FA to report alleged anti-Semitic chants by Lazio fans

The Football Association has announced that it will provide UEFA with a report from a crowd control advisor who observed Tottenham's clash against Lazio in Rome for their Europa League match on Thursday.

Less than 24 hours prior to the match, 10 Spurs fans were attacked in a pub by, allegedly, supporters of the Serie A club, with Lazio denying any connection with the incident. The controversial behavior of the home fans continued into the match, as sections of the crowd were heard chanting "Juden Tottenham."

In his post-match interview, Andre Villas-Boas called for UEFA to act for a second time, as Lazio has already been fined 32,000 pounds for fans making monkey chants towards players the last time the sides met in September, and the FA has confirmed that an employed advisor's report will soon be sent to UEFA for review.

"We were saddened and alarmed to see reports of violent incidents prior to the game as well as anti-Semitic chants," an FA spokesman said. "The FA had a crowd control advisor present at the fixture who will provide an urgent report, which we will pass on to UEFA as a matter of priority."
