Caretaker Oldham manager Tony Philliskirk may be without fourth-round hero Matt Smith (shoulder), as the big striker is touch-and-go ahead of the clash with Everton at Boundary Park. He has not played since the FA Cup win over Liverpool, and he failed to even make the bench for Saturday's 3-1 win over MK Dons.
Fellow frontman Robbie Simpson (hamstring) is in a race against time to be fit for the glamor tie; however, Connor Murray (knee), Cristian Montano (thigh) and Paul Murray (cup-tied) are all out.
Everton boss David Moyes is without Tony Hibbert (calf) and Seamus Coleman (hip). Victor Anichebe (calf) limped out of the defeat at Manchester United last time out, and may be rested in favor of out-of-sorts Nikica Jelavic.
