Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer could return from injury (neck), as could winger Damien Duff (calf), but forward Mladen Petric (leg), midfielder Mahamadou Diarra (knee) and Simon Davies (hip) may not recover in time.

Martin Jol may rest players or give playing time to those who have had few opportunities, but with the Cottagers' next match coming a week later he could field a strong team similar to that which defeated West Brom on Tuesday.

Blackpool is without winger Matt Phillips (toe) and center back Ian Evatt (knee), while striker Wes Thomas has returned to Bournemouth after his loan spell expired. The Tangerines could otherwise field the same lineup from Tuesday’s draw against Hull.

Nathan Delfouneso is set to start in attack, while fellow forward Nouha Dicko was recalled from loan by parent club Wigan.

  • Fulham had won just one game in 12 before picking up a 2-1 away win over West Brom on New Year's Day.

  • The Cottagers finished runners-up to West Ham in the 1975 FA Cup, and have made it past the third round in each of the last four seasons.

  • Top-scorer Dimitar Berbatov has netted seven Premier League goals for the the West London club so far this season.
  • Blackpool won the FA Cup in 1953 after coming back to defeat Bolton 4-3 in a match that became known as the Matthews final. It was a memorable performance from Tangerines winger Stanley Matthews, in combination with fellow England international Stan Mortensen, who scored a hat trick.

  • The two sides last met in the Premier League season 2010-11, where the Tangerines recorded a 2-2 draw at Bloomfield Road but were defeated 3-0 at Craven Cottage later in the season.

  • The Tangerines were relegated on the final day of the season in 2011 and last year lost the Championship playoff final to West Ham.

  • The Lancashire side now sits 14th in the table, with new manager Michael Appleton beginning with a seven game unbeaten run following his appointment in place of Ian Holloway, before recording a four-match winless run going into Saturday's match.

  • Winger Tom Ince (pictured) has netted 13 goals so far this season.
