Taylor posted on Twitter a string of messages after he visited a doctor recently, saying that tests he underwent showed he suffered injuries that he previously was unaware of.
Visited Chicago last week for full Ortho exam. Took 11 MRIs and 12 X-rays. Got results yesterday. Somehow I played career with fractured->

clavicle, 2 partially torn labrum, one in each shoulder. I'm Appalled! I was never told this as a player. Oversight? Or BS!

Taylor, 40, played 13 years in the NFL, 11 with the Jaguars and his final two with the New England Patriots. He made one Pro Bowl in 2007 and currently ranks 15th all time in rushing yards with 11,695. Taylor was hindered by injuries throughout his career and played only two 16-game seasons, in 2002 and 2003. He was limited to 13 games over his final two seasons before retiring at 34.
Taylor currently works for the Jaguars as an analyst, with his pregame videos played at home games.
Former NFL players are eligible for what’s called a “Line of Duty” disability benefit that’s afforded if a player is deemed to have incurred “substantial disablement arising out of NFL football activities.”
Taylor says his claim was denied — more than once, too.
Even through all the injuries and the lingering injuries, somehow The league still manage to deny my "Line of Duty" benefit 3 times.

Seems the "neutral doctors" we are referred to by the league overlooked the injuries and issues I currently deal with. Nice job guys

Taylor goes on to note that he’s not complaining. Rather, he’s trying to bring to light that he feels he was wrongly diagnosed or that medical information was withheld from him, which is a serious claim.
This isn't a pity party. Just sharing part of the business with you all. I've always been a TOUGH mutha*** you play hard injuries happen
