Update: Malkin is experiencing concussion-like symptoms, including headaches and mild disorientation, and will miss at least Sunday's game after sliding back-first into the boards Friday night, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports.
Recommendation: Coach Dan Bylsma will update his status after practice Saturday. The injury did not look good and it wouldn't be surprising to see Malkin miss an extended period of time.
