Inside Marissa Webb’s Dreamy NYFW Show

Marissa Webb debuted her eponymous line in 2013, after serving as head of womenswear and accessories at J.Crew for a decade, before becoming the creative director of Banana Republic — a role she left at the end of 2015. For her Spring/Summer 2017 show, Marissa brought it back to her roots, with feminine, ladylike apparel that you can wear to work or to a cocktail, but with extra flair in the details. The show was held in one of MADE Fashion Week’s three venues — the Gallery Skylight Clarkson Square in downtown Manhattan.

See below for the scoop on who attended and what looks we’re already coveting for when Spring officially hits next year.

The scene: The scene was nothing out of the ordinary — a simple snaking runway in a white-lit gallery space: clean, simple, and to the point. All the better to concentrate on the clothes!

The front row: The coveted front row seats included Jessica Lowndes (formerly of “Beverly Hills 90210″ – the 2.0 version from the C.W.), Michelle Williams (yes, from Destiny’s Child), celebrity stylist Brad Goreski, and television host Louise Roe. Also worth noting, fashion’s favorite social media gal, Aimee Song, also sat front row (although she is not pictured here).
