Veteran offensive tackle Trai Essex will be returning to the Pittsburgh Steelers, announcing the news on his Twitter feed.
Essex has been a part of the Steelers' organization since being the team's third-round draft pick in 2005.

On Wednesday, Pittsburgh re-signed receiver Jerricho Cotchery to a two-year deal. Before that, Pittsburgh picked up free agent tight end Leonard Pope.
