Recommendation: A timetime hasn't been set for Gordon's return, but he reported his knee feeling better Monday. He's missed the team's first four preseason games, but he seems eager to get onto the court. "I definitely want to get back to where I should be," Gordon said. "As of right now, I’m just going through the rehab with a lot of strengthening, running and all that. I want to take a real toll on it this week and then see how it goes from there next week. I definitely want to be back before the season starts and that’s what we’re striving right now." Hornets coach Monty Williams is hoping Gordon can play in a couple preseason games before the Oct. 31 regular season opener against San Antonio.
Update: Gordon said Monday that he plans to spend the rest of this week doing extensive running and strength work to see how his sore right knee responds, New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
