New England trades up for top spot in 2013 SuperDraft

New England is now on the clock.

The New England Revolution have acquired the first pick in Thursday's 2013 MLS SuperDraft, dealing the fourth overall pick and allocation money to Toronto FC.

The Revs have had success with first round picks in recent years, netting Kevin Alston, A.J. Soars, and Kelyn Rowe in 2009, 2011, and 2012, respectively. Other notable first-rounders in Revs history include Taylor Twellman (2002), Clint Dempsey (2004), and Michael Parkhurst (2005).

This will be the first time the Revolution have had the first pick in the draft.
