The New England Revolution used a four-goal second half to run away from the Philadelphia Union, taking a 5-1 win on Sunday night.

Kelyn Rowe's 26th minute strike sent the Revs to the break a goal up, but the Union drew back level just after halftime, with Danny Cruz netting the equalizer five minutes after the restart.

Despite the fightback from the Union an own goal by Amobi Okugo eight minutes later opened the floodgates for a big second half from the Revolution.

Rowe scored his second of the night in the 65th to make it 3-1 and the Revs got two quick strikes from Diego Fagundez and Juan Agudelo in the 71st and 73rd minutes respectively to round out an impressive offensive outburst from New England.

The win jumps New England ahead of the Union, with the two clubs currently occupying the final two playoff places in the Eastern Conference.
