Buzzing on Yahoo Sports:

New England Patriots: Tom Brady Rocking the Cowardly Lion Costume

Halloween Special

COMMENTARY | Plenty of NFL fans look for any reason to make fun of star quarterback Tom Brady. His greatness is unquestionable, but some people often enjoy laughing at some of his off the field antics.

Well, he surely isn't helping his own cause with his Halloween costume. The quarterback of the New England Patriots was spotted dressed up as the one and only Cowardly Lion from the Wizard of Oz. His wife Gisele Bundchen posted the picture on Instagram, and you can see it here.

Side note: if Gisele is posting pictures with you on Instagram, you're probably doing pretty well for yourself. Just saying.

Not very many guys can pull off a Cowardly Lion costume, but it helps if you've won three championships. Oh, and it probably doesn't hurt that he's married to a supermodel. The combination of those two things make me believe that Mr. Brady can pull it off better than most.

Will Brady catch some grief from this? Of course, particularly from fans of opposing teams. It's easy to make fun of him off the field a little bit for a variety of things. He never does anything harmful, but there always seems to be a goofy picture of him floating around somewhere.

Although he's one of the best football players of all time, it's easy to poke at his pretty boy image. This picture will definitely add some fuel to that fire.

The verdict? If you can marry Gisele and wear three rings on your hand, dress up as whatever your heart desires for Halloween. Yes, even if that means rocking the Cowardly Lion costume.

Make fun of him if you want, but Tom Brady has just about all of the credentials to throw it back in your face.
