Atlanta also got solid performances from Mike Scott with 18 points and 9 rebounds, DeMarre Carroll with 13 points and 9 rebounds, and Paul Millsap with 12 points and 6 steals. Thaddeus Young had another big game for Philadelphia in the loss, putting up 29 points on 11-19 shooting (3-6 on 3-point attempts), in addition to going 4-7 from the free throw line. He also recorded 8 rebounds and 5 steals. Lavoy Allen contributed 11 points and 10 rebounds.
The Hawks combined an eFG% of 55.1% with 50.0% 3-point shooting. They are 5-3 this year when registering marks above 55% and 40% in those respective statistics. The 76ers, on the other hand, are 1-7 when allowing opponents to hit those marks.
This drops Philadelphia (15-32) to 0-2 versus Atlanta on the season.
