Paris Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti has heaped lofty praise on Stephan El Shaarawy, comparing the AC Milan youngster to in-demand Brazil international Neymar.
Rossoneri vice president and CEO Adriano Galliani recently likened the 19-year-old to Anzhi Makhachkala and Cameroon's Samuel Eto'o, but the PSG boss believes the Italy international's characteristics are quite similar to the Brazilian starlet's instead.
"Galliani comparing El Shaarawy to Eto'o? In terms of characteristics, El Shaarawy reminds me more of Neymar than Eto'o," Ancelotti was quoted as saying by Sky Sports. "El Shaarawy has had a very good start to the season, and I'm curious to see him playing alongside (Alexandre) Pato."
El Shaarawy joined Milan from Genoa in the summer of 2011 and has since developed into an important first team member at the San Siro side, netting five goals in eight official appearances for Milan this term as one of the few bright spots for the struggling side that is preparing for this weekend's Milan derby.
