The Philadelphia Eagles tied an NFL mark for 2-point conversion tries Sunday with five in their 34-20 victory over Detroit.

Playing in blizzard-like conditions, the kicking game was useless at the Linc. So the Eagles went for 2 points after all five touchdowns. They were successful twice.

The five attempts tied the mark of the St. Louis Rams in 2000 against the Atlanta Falcons. The NFL instituted the 2-point conversion in 1994.

In all 13 2-pointers were tried Sunday afternoon, one short of the NFL mark for one day on Nov. 1, 1998. Detroit went for two, New England for two, Cleveland, Minnesota, Baltimore and Green Bay for one apiece.
