The Philadelphia Eagles have signed veteran offensive lineman Jake Scott to a one-year contract, the team announced. Scott, 31, has started 121 career regular season games, and he started all 16 games in each of the past seven years. Scott, who played for Tennessee the past four seasons, was a free agent in the offseason, but did not sign with a team. To make room on the 53-man roster, the Eagles released guard Julian Vandervelde.
