The Eagles' O-line revamping has begun with the signing of OT Mike Gibson to a two-year contract, believed to be for the veteran's minimum salary. Other contract information was not immediately available.
Gibson, a 2008 sixth-round pick of the Eagles, played the past three seasons with the Seahawks, starting eight games (all in 2010). He was slated to be a restricted free agent, but the Seahawks didn't tender him a qualifying offer, thus making him an unrestricted free agent.
The Eagles traded OT Winston Justice to the Colts in a swap of sixth-round picks on Wednesday and also released longtime C Jamaal Jackson. They still have OG Evan Mathis, a free agent who visited the Ravens on Wednesday, left to re-sign.
