Eagles hire Gamble as VP of player personnel

The Eagles announced Sunday that they have acquired DT Ollie Ogbu in a trade with the Colts. In exchange, the Eagles sent CB D.J. Johnson to Indianapolis.

Philadelphia also signed free-agent WR Anthony "Tiger" Jones, an Arena Football League veteran, and undrafted free-agent CB Kee-ayre Griffin. Their roster now stands at 90 players.

Ogbu, 25, was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Colts in 2011. The 6-1, 305-pound Penn State product spent the '11 season on the Colts' practice squad.

Johnson, 26, is a three-year NFL veteran who spent Weeks 14-17 of the 2011 season on the Eagles' practice squad. He originally entered the league as an undrafted free agent with the Broncos in '09. The 6-1, 191-pound Jackson State product also has spent time with the Giants, Buccaneers, Vikings and Redskins.
