On 6-13 shooting (2-6 on 3-point attempts), in addition to going 9-9 from the free throw line, Goran Dragic scored 23 points for Phoenix in the loss. He also tallied 8 assists, 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Gerald Green contributed 13 points and 6 rebounds and Markieff Morris finished with 12 points and 6 rebounds.
The Rockets combined an eFG% of 62.7% with 68.8% 3-point shooting. They are undefeated (12-0) this year when registering marks above 55% and 40% in those respective statistics. The Suns, on the other hand, are 1-2 when allowing opponents to hit those marks.
This drops Phoenix (29-20) to 1-1 versus Houston on the season.
