Dwight Howard finished with 24 points and recorded 18 rebounds, his 21st double-double of the season, to lead the Houston Rockets to a victory over the New Orleans Pelicans, 107-98. The Rockets had an impressive game shooting the ball, finishing 38-77 (49.4%) from the field and 25-32 (78.1%) at the free throw line. Houston (21-11) is now on a three-game winning streak.
Howard shot 10-12 from the field, in a quality offensive outing. Houston also got solid performances from James Harden with 21 points and 5 rebounds, Chandler Parsons with 19 points and 7 rebounds, and Terrence Jones with 17 points and 8 rebounds. On 8-15 shooting, including 3-8 from behind the arc, Ryan Anderson scored 22 points for New Orleans in the loss. He also recorded 12 rebounds. Anthony Davis contributed 18 points and 16 rebounds and Tyreke Evans finished with 16 points and 9 assists.
