Duke and Michigan stayed atop both major polls, which were released Monday, for the fourth straight week. The Blue Devils (14-0) received 62 of 65 first place votes in the AP media poll and 30 of 31 top votes in the USA Today coaches poll. The Wolverines (15-0) got the remaining first place votes in both polls. Louisville (13-1) overtook Arizona (14-0) for the third spot in the media poll but the Wildcats held on to No. 3 in the coaches poll. The rest of the AP top 10 includes Indiana (fifth), Kansas (sixth), Syracuse (seventh), Minnesota (eighth), Gonzaga (ninth) and Missouri (10th). USA Today's No. 5 through 10 spots belong to Indiana, Kansas, Syracuse, Gonzaga, Florida and Minnesota. Aside from Duke, Michigan and Arizona, Wyoming is the nation's only other undefeated Division I team. The Cowboys (13-0) are unranked by AP but are No. 25 in the USA Today poll.
