Duke and Michigan remain atop the men's basketball rankings but Syracuse took a tumble in both major polls, which were released Monday. No. 1 Duke (11-0) received 63 of 65 first place votes in the AP media poll and 30 of 31 in the USA Today coaches poll. Second-ranked Michigan (12-0) picked up the remaining top votes. Syracuse (10-1) fell from third to No. 9 by the media and to No. 7 by the coaches after losing to Temple last week. Arizona, Louisville and Indiana each moved up a spot in the AP poll to round out the top five. The coaches rank Louisville third, Arizona fourth and Indiana fifth. Kansas is No. 6 n both polls. Missouri made the biggest jump in the media's top 10, moving from 12th last week to No. 7. The Tigers moved up from No. 12 to ninth in the coaches poll.
