Ducks' Silfverberg to miss 4-6 weeks with broken hand

Anaheim Ducks right winger Jakob Silfverberg is expected to miss 4-6 weeks after breaking his hand Friday, the team announced Saturday.

Ottawa's Jared Cowen reportedly slashed Silfverberg late in Friday's 2-1 Ducks' win over the Senators.

Silfverberg scored four goals and three assists in his first seven games this season after he was part of an offseason trade with the Senators for winger Bobby Ryan.

In other Ducks' injury news, left winger Dustin Penner, who missed the last three games with an upper-body injury, is expected to rejoin the team in time for Sunday's game at Columbus.
