ANAHEIM -- Ryan Getzlaf had a goal and two assists as the Anaheim Ducks recorded a 5-2 victory over the Dallas Stars before an announced crowd of 15,165 at Honda Center on Wednesday night.

Getzlaf scored midway through the third period, giving him a team-high 13 goals and 30 assists. Recently acquired right wing Radek Dvorak, who played last season with the Stars, Teemu Selanne and Kyle Palmieri also scored goals for the Ducks (25-7-5), who won their third straight in four meetings with Dallas (16-17-3). Anaheim added an empty-netter by Andrew Cogliano in the final 10 seconds.

Goalie Viktor Fasth, who blanked the Stars in a 4-0 win Monday, shut them out for two periods before giving up a goal to Erik Cole early in the third period and another one to Lane MacDermid, his first this season, in the final two minutes.

A power-play goal got the Ducks off and running in the second period. After Dallas defenseman Alex Goligoski was sent to the penalty box for tripping at the 11:04 mark, Selanne delivered 33 seconds later for a 2-0 Anaheim lead. It was the 10th goal of the season for the 42-year-old Selanne.

Kyle Palmieri made it 3-0 at 16:38 of the second when he drove to the net uncontested from the left side and scored from point-blank range for his eighth goal.

It was the first goal of the season for Dvorak, who played in 73 games with the Stars last season. He was appearing in his third with the Ducks.
