    Dolphins sign safeties

The Miami Dolphins filled both safety spots Thursday, a day before free agency began, as they re-signed veteran Yeremiah Bell to a four-year contract worth $20 million, agent Drew Rosenhaus said.

The deal includes $10 million in guaranteed money for Bell, who started 16 games last season. The signing followed the Dolphins' five-year deal with safety Gibril Wilson earlier in the day. Wilson received $8 million guaranteed.

Bell is expected to start at strong safety, although the Dolphins' safety positions are largely interchangeable.
