Dodgers-Braves series gets prime-time slot

The series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Atlanta Braves will receive prime-time prominence during the first week of baseball's postseason.

Games 1 of the National League Division Series between the Dodgers and Braves is scheduled for 8:37 p.m. ET on Thursday at Atlanta. The following night, Game 2 will start at 6:07 p.m. ET at Turner Field.

The first two games of the NLDS at St. Louis will have early starts: 5:07 p.m. ET on Thursday, 1:07 p.m. ET on Friday. The Cardinals' opponent will be determined by Tuesday's NL wild-card game, in which the Cincinnati Reds will play at the Pittsburgh Pirates on Tuesday at 8:07 p.m. ET.
