The Packers have reached a deal with DE Anthony Hargrove, the lineman tweeted on Thursday morning. Terms of the agreement were not announced.
Hargrove played for the Seahawks in 2011, recording three sacks in 15 games. Known more as a run stuffer than as a pass rusher, Hargrove’s best season came in 2009 for the Super Bowl-champion Saints, registering 42 tackles and five sacks.
“It's official.. Here I come Packer Nation….Green and Yellow,” Hargrove tweeted.
Hargrove is the second defensive lineman the Packers have signed this offseason, following the addition of DT Daniel Muir. DT Howard Green, who had 11 tackles for Green Bay last season, remains unsigned.
