Dirk Nowitzki's 30 leads Mavericks over Thunder

Dirk Nowitzki finished with 30 points and recorded five rebounds, while Chandler Parsons added 26 points and five rebounds to help the Dallas Mavericks pull out a close one against the Oklahoma City Thunder, 112-107. Dallas (22-10) has now won back-to-back games after defeating Los Angeles Lakers on Friday.

Nowitzki finished 8-13 (2-3 from three-point range) and 12-12 from the free throw line, in a good performance. Serge Ibaka had a strong game for Oklahoma City in the loss, scoring 26 points on 11-14 shooting, including 3-4 from behind the arc. He also added 10 rebounds. Russell Westbrook contributed 18 points and nine rebounds and Steven Adams finished with 11 points and six rebounds.

Coming up next, the Mavericks battle the Washington Wizards, who are 21-8 on the year. The Thunder meet the Phoenix Suns, currently 17-14 this season. The Mavericks are 1-0 versus Washington this season. The Thunder have a 1-0 record against Phoenix this season.
