Recommendation: Nowitzki had previously missed time at the beginning of the season with a right knee injury, but there was no indication that his right thigh was causing any problems for him. He'll be tagged as day-to-day for now, but the unforeseen injury doesn't bode well for his chances to play Friday against the Suns.
