PHOENIX -- Paul Goldschmidt homered with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning to lift the Arizona Diamondbacks past the New York Mets 5-4 on Friday night.

Adam Eaton, Martin Prado and Wil Nieves added RBI doubles for the Diamondbacks, who won their third straight game.

Brad Ziegler (5-1) pitched the eighth for the win.

Justin Turner had two hits and three RBIs for the Mets, who saw their three-game winning streak snapped.

The Diamondbacks carried a 4-2 lead into the eighth both couldn't hold it.

Daniel Murphy, Marlon Byrd and Josh Satin hit consecutive singles to start the inning against Heath Bell. Turner and Wilmer Flores each had a run-scoring groundout to tie the game at 4-4.

Scott Atchison (2-1) retired Prado on a come-backer to the mound. But Goldschmidt lined a 1-1 pitch just over the right-field fence for his 27th home run and second walk-off homer of the season.

The Mets tied the game at 2-2 in the sixth when Daniel Murphy singled, Arizona starter Patrick Corbin hit Byrd with a pitch and Turner stroked an RBI single to left.

Arizona answered in the bottom of the inning. Aaron Hill singled, Ross doubled and Nieves followed with a two-run double to left to make the score 4-2.

The Mets took a 1-0 lead with two outs in the fourth inning against Corbin.

Satin walked and advanced to second on a wild pitch. Turner followed with a clean single to center to score Satin. It was only the second hit for the Mets.

The Diamondbacks answered in the fifth turning three two-out doubles by Corbin, Eaton and Prado into a 2-1 lead.

Marlon Byrd nearly sprinted for his 100th career home run in the second when he lined a pitch off a rounded seating area overhanging right-center field. The ball took a wild ricochet past Eaton and rolled into left field as Byrd motored around the bases.

Prado finally came up with the ball and threw to second baseman Aaron Hill, whose relay home beat Byrd by three steps. Byrd nearly avoided Wil Nieves' tag with a hook slide but his left hand was blocked off the plate.

NOTES: Turner's fourth-inning RBI was just his second in 13 games since coming off the disabled list on July 21. ... Arizona was using the same starting lineup -- excluding pitchers -- for the third straight game for only the second time this season and first time since May. ... Four of Corbin's seven hits are doubles and his four doubles this year lead all major league pitchers.
