NEWARK, N.J. -- Goaltender Martin Brodeur made 15 saves for his second consecutive shutout and the 123rd of his career as the New Jersey Devils rolled to a 5-0 victory over the Nashville Predators on Sunday night at Prudential Center.

Brodeur extended his shutout streak to 165 minutes, 31 seconds and has allowed two goals in his past four starts.

The Devils capped a stretch of three games in four nights with a 2-0-1 record.

Forwards Jaromir Jagr, Cam Janssen, Travis Zajac and Mattias Tedenby and defenseman Marek Zidlicky scored for the Devils.

Predators goaltender Carter Hutton made 18 saves.

The Predators fell to 2-2-0 on their seven-game road trip that started with a pair of victories in Los Angeles and Colorado.

It took just 90 seconds for the Devils to open the scoring, as Jagr's fifth goal of the season made it 1-0. He glided across the slot and snapped a seemingly harmless wrist shot that eluded the catching glove of Hutton and put the Predators in an early hole.

Janssen's second goal in three games at 2:54 of the second period extended the Devils lead to 2-0. Left wing Ryan Carter carried the puck to the net and off the ensuing scramble, Janssen slammed home his fifth goal in 315 career games.

Zidlicky made it 3-0 with a power-play goal a little less than six minutes later. His blast from the right point beat Hutton, who was unable to track the puck through a screen by forward Steve Bernier.

Brodeur's toughest stop on an otherwise leisurely night came at the end of the second period, when he snared a shot by Predators left wing Matt Hendricks with his catching glove.

Zajac's 100th career goal came at 12:57 of the third period, when he finished a pretty pass from Jagr for a one-time rip from the left face-off circle. Tedenby scored with 43.8 seconds remaining in regulation to cap the scoring.
