The Cleveland defense had no answer for Joseph Fauria as he led the way to, a solid victory for the Lions over the Browns, 31-17, in Cleveland.
A terrific performance from Matthew Stafford included four touchdowns on 25 of 43 passing for 248 yards and one pick. On the Browns side, Brandon Weeden went 26 for 43 with 292 yards passing, two touchdowns and two picks.
Reggie Bush was a focal point for the Lions, running at will on the Browns for 78 yards on 17 carries in addition to five receptions for 57 yards and a touchdown. Fauria was a highlight, pulling in three balls for 34 yards with three touchdowns.
The Detroit defense was the major reason for the victory, allowing 126 yards rushing and 269 passing. They brought down Weeden for two sacks.
Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon provided some spark with 126 receiving yards. Running back Chris Ogbonnaya had a good game as well with 61 receiving yards, 24 rushing and one touchdown.
The Lions are at home to take on the Bengals (4-2) next week while the Browns travel to Green Bay to meet the Packers (3-2).
