Mattia Destro says Roma is ready to push Juventus to the limit in the race for this year's Serie A title.
After losing the top spot with a run of four successive draws, the capital club returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Fiorentina on Sunday courtesy of its 22-year-old forward.
Destro is delighted to be back in the Giallorossi fold after a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a knee injury and is determined to help Roma defeat the Bianconeri to the Scudetto.
"We will never stop fighting," the Italy international told La Gazzetta dello Sport. "We will always do our part, sacrificing ourselves until the end. We are a great team, we will prove it at AC Milan next week."
Destro, meanwhile, dedicated his strike to everyone who helped him through his five-month injury layoff.
"Scoring was wonderful," the striker said. "But I don't think it was anything special; I was just very happy to be back. Now I've put it all behind me. The goal is dedicated to all those who stood by me."
Roma's win over Fiorentina saw it draw within three points of Juventus ahead of Monday's trip to San Siro.
