DeSean Jackson, Redskins agree to terms

Former Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson has agreed to a deal to join the Washington Redskins, according to his publicist, Denise White.

News of the deal was first reported by Dianna Russini of NBC Washington.

Jackson began his visit Monday.

Jackson's agent, Joel Segal, remained in town to negotiate the deal with the Redskins.

Prior to being released by the Eagles amidst reports that he had character issues with one report linking him to Los Angeles street gangs, claims Jackson has refuted, and attitude problems Jackson was due to make $10.5 million from the Eagles in 2014.

He caught 82 passes for 1,332 yards and nine touchdowns with the Eagles last season.
