France boss Didier Deschamps has recalled Manchester City's Samir Nasri for next month's friendlies against Uruguay and Brazil.
Nasri has not been featured for Les Bleus since Euro 2012, having been hit with a three-game ban by the French Football Federation (FFF) in relation to his conduct during the tournament.
While Nasri is included, Franck Ribery has been omitted due to the winger's upcoming club commitments with Bayern Munich.
"He has to play two finals," former Juventus midfielder Deschamps pointed out, referring to die Roten's Champions League and DFB-Pokal clashes with Borussia Dortmund and Stuttgart, respectively.
"It is wiser after a busy season in which he has had a few knocks to leave him out."
Elsewhere, Porto defender Eliaquim Mangala and Saint-Etienne midfielder Joshua Guilavogui have both been called upon by their country for the first time, while Manchester United defender Patrice Evra has been left out.
"They are young players with good potential for the highest level," Deschamps said of the uncapped 22-year-old duo.
France is scheduled to face Uruguay in Montevido on June 5 and Brazil in Porto Alegre four days later.
