Derrick Rose: (Knee) Not Expected To Play This Season

Rotowire.com
Update: Rose (knee) has been unofficially declared out for the season, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Recommendation: The team initially gave Rose an 8-to-12 month recovery timetable after he underwent knee surgery May 12, but with seemingly no signal from the organization that he'd be able to return to game action as the regular season winds down, it looks like Rose's recovery will require the full recovery period. Rose was cleared for full scrimmaging Feb. 18 and has looked good during practices, but it appears he'll be saving his bullets for training camp. It's probably safe for those who were stashing Rose to drop him in non-keeper formats at this point.
