Recommendation: The Yankees said that Jeter will face a 4-to-5 month recovery window after the surgery, scheduled to be performed by Dr. Robert Anderson in North Carolina. As a result, Jeter could miss the majority, if not all, of spring training, and may not be ready for Opening Day. Exercise some caution if targeting Jeter as your top shortstop on draft day, as he likely won't be completely recovered by that point and could have even hit a setback in his rehab.
