Recommendation: Jeter did not run Monday, and there is currently no public timetable for that to happen, but reports indicate that he is able to walk without a limp at this time. With Opening Day just nine weeks away, the early signs are pointing to Jeter being ready to play, but how his ankle holds up with the rigors of running and lateral movement in game situations this spring will ultimately serve as a better indicators of his progress.
