Denver Nuggets 2012-2013 Game-by-Game Predictions: One NBA Fan's Outlook

Yahoo Contributor Network

With the acquisition of Andre Iguodala, the Denver Nuggets are no longer a starless team. Iguodala, who earned his first All-Star bid in 2012, is not a superstar, but the defensive stalwart consistently makes life difficult for the opposing team's wing players.

Although Iguodala may find it difficult to make the 2013 All-Star Game in the Western Conference, which is stacked with talented guards and forwards, he will nonetheless perform at an All-Star level in the Mile High City.

Iguodala's ability to defend those same guards and forwards that might prevent him from making his second consecutive All-Star team will be the greatest asset that he brings to Denver this season. Iguodala and a full season of Wilson Chandler will give the Nuggets one of the better pairs of wing defenders in the entire NBA.

An improved defense, the continued growth of players like Kenneth Faried, Danilo Gallinari, Ty Lawson and JaVale McGee along with the steady play of veteran point guard Andre Miller will push the Nuggets to another 50-win season and their 10th consecutive playoff appearance.

Here are game-by-game predictions for the 2012-2013 Denver Nuggets:
