Good Morning Broncos Country
I don't know about you, but I'm all roster-ed-out!!! Today the Broncos will look to build their practice squad and can keep a total number of 10 players. So how does the practice squad work? Kyle will be here to lay it all out for you!
Hey Mike! Now that we're heading into the regular season, how does the salary cap work? Well, instead of just the top 51 contracts, each one of the 53 contracts counts, plus the players on IR, plus the practice squad, plus all the dead money. Check back later for guesstimated figures on where the Broncos will stand in regards to the Salary Cap when the season begins!
Thoughts on the Season
The Broncos made it through the offseason relatively unscathed when it comes to injuries and other nonsense. We have seen Jordan Norwood go to IR, but he was no more than a depth player who was slated to return kicks. We may have lost Danny Trevathan for the first 4 weeks or so of the season, but he will be back when the season starts to heat up.
Our road to the Super Bowl is paved with a healthy roster. It is a deep roster, but you don't want to lose your star players like last season.
This team on any given week will be able to match up with their opponent. This team will have the ability to win every game it enters. The defense will be just as much fun as the offense, and I look for the offense to play more ball control.
