Peyton Manning had a big night for the offense, leading the way to a solid win for the Broncos against the Chiefs, 27-17, at home.
Manning had a respectable 24 of 40 performance with 323 yards passing, one touchdown and one fumble. On the Chiefs side, Alex Smith went 21 for 45 with 230 yards passing, two touchdowns and no interceptions.
Montee Ball put points on the scoreboard for the Broncos, rushing for 25 yards on eight attempts with two touchdowns in addition to three receptions for 16 yards. Demaryius Thomas was a top receiver, catching five passes for 121 yards.
The Denver defense gave up 144 yards rushing and 230 passing. They got to Smith for three sacks.
Chiefs tight end Anthony Fasano tallied 37 receiving yards and one touchdown. Wide receiver Dwayne Bowe also had a good game with 57 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Next week, the Broncos travel to Foxborough to face the Patriots (7-2) while the Chiefs are at home against the Chargers (4-6).
