Deng injures ankle in Bulls' loss

Chicago Bulls forward Luol Deng is questionable for Wednesday's road game against the Indiana Pacers due to an ankle injury.

"We'll see how it feels," said Deng, who was limping in the locker room after Tuesday's game.

Deng twisted his right ankle in the first quarter of the Bulls' 120-97 loss to the Houston Rockets on Tuesday. He continued to play, and he wound up with 14 points on 5-of-14 shooting in 36 minutes. Deng added five rebounds and two assists.

During last Friday's game against the New York Knicks, Deng hurt his left shoulder. He played 34 minutes and scored 11 points Saturday in the Bulls' loss to the Hawks at Atlanta, and he didn't practice Monday. He was back in the starting lineup Tuesday.

Through 27 games this season, Deng is averaging 17.7 points and 7 rebounds. The 27-year-old veteran is in his ninth season out of Duke. Deng was the Bulls' first-round draft pick (seventh overall) in 2004.
