DeMar DeRozan's 32 leads Raptors over Warriors

DeMar DeRozan put up 32 points to lead the Toronto Raptors to a close victory over the Golden State Warriors, 104-98. The Raptors played an efficient game offensively, shooting 38-79 (48.1%) from the field and turning it over just nine times. Toronto (33-26) has now won seven of their last 10 games.

DeRozan went 10-16 and went 11-12 from the free throw line, in a good performance. Kyle Lowry chipped in 13 points and 8 assists for Toronto as well. Stephen Curry had another strong game for Golden State in the loss, scoring 34 points on 13-27 shooting (4-11 on 3-point attempts), in addition to going 4-6 from the free throw line. He also recorded 7 assists. David Lee added 20 points and 11 rebounds.

The Raptors posted a sterling assist-to-turnover ratio of 3.11. This year, they are undefeated (4-0) when they exceed 2.50 in this metric. Conversely, the Warriors are 1-4 when allowing their opponents to achieve such a stellar ratio.

This drops Golden State (36-24) to 1-1 against Toronto on the year.
