Update: Young (ankle) could miss the first month of the upcoming season, CSNPhilly.com reports.
Recommendation: GM Ruben Amaro had already acknowledged that Young likely wouldn't be ready for Opening Day, but this new report gives us a better idea of how long he might be sidelined. Young is recovering from microfracture surgery to correct a cartilage problem in is right ankle. Domonic Brown and Darin Ruf could both end up on the Phillies Opening Day roster with Young on the disabled list to start the year.
